Introducing 'Nightfall' from the second project 'Morphing' $230NZD
Size 10 & 14 available now and Pre-Orders available here now.
Project : 002 set the challenge of converting a Summer concept into a Winter piece.
The Triglinae dress, originally inspired by the winged fins of the Gurnard fish has taking new shape, in gunmetal velveteen.
Starting point: an exact replica of the shell of the original pattern, with the addition of a hood.
Analysis: Too much Velveteen! The wings of the dress started looking more like a cape someone attending Hogwarts may wear.
Adjustments: Reshape the side seams to slim the silhouette, whilst still allowing for the drape of the fabric to show itself off. Add hood. Replace drawcord with permanent encased elastic.
